This is the center of ancient Rome. It's a quick walk from it to the Roman Forum, the Colosseum, Circus Maximus, Piazza del Campidoglio, Capitoline Museum and Bocca della Verita (Mouth of the Truth). All of these places are important parts of the city's history and can take several hours each to see and appreciate.
