Kindly note that the acquisition of skip-the-line tickets is not guaranteed.
Procurement is dependent on availability, to be confirmed at the time we go to
book them. Booking tickets has become extremely challenging this year due to
the activities of prominent agencies that have access to sales ahead of us.
Ticket sales for the Colosseum open one month ahead. In the event we can't
secure tickets, we will offer you an alternative activity. There is no end to
the fascinating archeological sites and architectural points of interest in
Rome. Our intention is not to cause alarm but we felt it was important to be
transparent regarding this difficult situation in order to manage expectations.
Rest assured we will do our very best to find any tickets you request through
our trusted suppliers. We appreciate your understanding.
What to
expect from your driver/guide
Our drivers are NOT licensed guides. They can share facts and history from
inside the vehicle, but cannot provide commentary once you exit the vehicle,
nor accompany you on foot or inside sites. You will have time to stop in each
area to explore on your own. If you’d like guided visits inside churches,
archeological sites, or museums, we can arrange a licensed private guide.
Is this tour private?

Is the driver also a guide?
Our drivers are NOT licensed guides. They share information from inside the vehicle only and cannot accompany you on foot. We can arrange a private guide if you wish to be accompanied inside sites.
Does this tour include lunch, admission fees, or gratuities?
No. Admission fees, meals, and gratuities are not included.
What is the duration of the service?
Up to 8 hours. No reductions are given should you wish to shorten the service.
Can we add a licensed guide for interior visits?
Yes. If you want a guide for places like the Colosseum/Roman Forum or museums, tell us what you’d like to visit and we’ll advise availability and pricing.
Is the itinerary flexible?
Yes, within reason. Since it’s a private service, we can adjust timing and stops based on your interests and pace.
Is gratuity included?
No. Tips are never included. Tip only if you really liked the service. Tips are generally: 10% not bad, 15% great, 20% best tour in my life. Please report any abuse.
There will be a full charge made to your credit card for no-shows and bookings canceled with less than 72 hours notice, including the cost of any pre-purchased tickets. Pre-purchased tickets are not refundable under any circumstances. Please keep us apprised of any problems or changes during your travels (flight delays and changes, missed connections, port changes, etc.) and we will do our best to adapt. If you are on a cruise ship and it does not come into port, your service will be annulled and no penalty will apply (with the exception of skip-the-line tickets; you will owe us for any entrance fees we have pre-paid on your behalf, regardless of circumstances.)
