Potentially, yes—time permitting. These sites can require specific opening hours and ticket planning. If this is a must, tell us in advance so we can help you structure the day.
Do you include Palermo’s street markets (like Ballarò or Capo)?
We can include a market-area stop if you’d like. Exact market choice depends on timing, day of week, and your walking preferences.
Is lunch included?
No. Lunch is not included. Your driver can suggest a good local spot in Palermo based on your timing and preferences.
Is the itinerary flexible?
Yes. This is a private tour, so we can adjust timing and focus areas within reason—more time in Monreale, more time in Palermo, or a lighter panoramic day.
Is the driver also a guide?
No. Our English-speaking drivers are not licensed guides on foot. They can share information from inside the vehicle, but cannot guide once you exit the vehicle. A licensed private guide can be arranged on request.
Does the driver go inside monuments with us?
No. Only licensed guides are permitted to accompany guests inside sites. Your driver will coordinate drop-off/pick-up points and remain with the vehicle.
Does this tour include tickets or a guide?
No. Tickets and guides are not included. If you’d like a private guide (especially for Palermo sites or Monreale Cathedral), contact us for options.
What should we wear for Palermo and Monreale?
Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. For churches, modest attire is best (shoulders covered is a safe choice).
Do you guarantee return to the ship on time?
Yes. We plan the itinerary around ship schedules and organize the day to ensure an on-time return to the Port of Trapani.
Is gratuity included (is tipping expected in Italy)?
Gratuity is not included. Tipping is always optional and based on your satisfaction. As a simple guideline: 10% is good, 15% is great, and 20% is exceptional. Please tip only if you really liked the service.
