On shared tours, your driver (or driver-guide) will keep the day running
smoothly and share background and context from inside the vehicle. Please note
that only licensed guides can accompany you inside monuments. At each stop you
will have time to explore independently, and it’s important to respect the
schedule for the benefit of all guests.
Is this tour private?
No. This tour is shared with other passengers.
What is the number of participants on the tour?
The average group size is about 5 guests and it will not exceed 8 persons in one single vehicle.
Where do we meet the driver/guide?
Your tour departs from the dockside of your ship. The driver will be waiting for you outside the ship holding a sign with Driverinrome.
Does the driver go with us inside the monuments?
No. Only a licensed guide is authorized to accompany you during the visit of sights. Our driver will drop you off close to the sights but will stay with the vehicle for the duration of your visit.
Does the tour include lunch and admission fees to the sites?
No. Tickets and lunch are not included in the rate. Please contact our office for pricing and reservations.
Are Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel included in the itinerary?
No. This tour does NOT include the visit of the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel.
Do we enter St. Peter’s Basilica?
During this tour, you will be given time to visit St. Peter's Basilica. Please be aware that this is a very popular sight. We cannot predict the length of the line nor can we skip it, so whether you will be able to go in or not is out of our control.
Does the tour include a guide?
This tour does not include a guide; however, the driver will provide commentary on the sights during the tour.
Do we follow a standard itinerary or is the itinerary flexible?
Since this is a shared tour, the itinerary is pretty much standard. For the sake of all participants, please be prepared to respect the time allotted at each stop by your driver. If you would like to customize the tour, we recommend booking a private service.
What is the duration of the tour?
The duration of the tour is 9 hours including pick up and drop off.
Do you guarantee the return to the ship on time?
Yes. We have organized all itineraries to guarantee your return on time.
Is gratuity included in the price?
Tips are never included in our quotes. Tip only if you really liked the service. Tips are generally: 10% not bad, 15% great, 20% best tour in my life. Please report any abuse.
There will be a full charge for bookings canceled with less than 72-hour notice for any service required. If the ship does not make it to the pier due to bad weather, no charge will be made. A full charge will be made for a no-show.
