before the selected date, while the Colosseum opens one month ahead. If we are
unable to secure tickets, alternative activities will be proposed.
Pre-purchased tickets are non-refundable, but we will make every effort to find
suitable alternatives.

Our drivers will share with you facts and background about the places and
monuments you will be seeing from inside the vehicle. Please note that drivers
in Italy are not permitted to provide explanations once you have exited the
vehicle, nor can they accompany you on foot. You will have the opportunity to
stop in each area listed on the itinerary to explore on your own. If you wish
to be accompanied inside sites, we can arrange a licensed private guide.

Is the driver also a guide?
Kindly note that our drivers are NOT licensed guides. Our drivers will share with you the facts and history of the places and monuments you will be seeing from inside the vehicle. Drivers in Italy are not permitted to share information once you have exited the vehicle, nor can they accompany you on foot. You will have the opportunity to stop in each area listed on the itinerary to explore on your own. We can arrange a private guide for you if you wish to be accompanied inside churches, archeological sites, and other points of interest.
Will we go inside the Colosseum or Vatican Museums on this shore excursion?
This itinerary is designed as a “best of Rome” overview with exterior stops and short visits. If you would like to add interior visits, tell us what matters most and we will propose the best plan based on timing and ticket availability.

What is the duration of the excursion?
Up to 9 hours. No reductions in the rate will be given should you wish to shorten the service.
Do you guarantee the return to the ship on time?
Yes. We have organized all itineraries to guarantee your return to the ship on time.
Does this tour include lunch and admission fees to sites?
No. Lunch, admission fees, and gratuities are not included in the rate.
Is gratuity included in the price?
No. Tips are never included. Tip only if you really liked the service. Tips are generally: 10% not bad, 15% great, 20% best tour in my life.
There will be a full charge for bookings canceled with less than 72-hour notice for any service required. If the ship does not make it to the pier due to bad weather, no charge will be made. A full charge will be made for a no-show.
