expect from your driver
Our drivers will share with you facts and background about the places you will
be seeing from inside the vehicle. Please note that drivers in Italy are not
permitted to provide explanations once you have exited the vehicle, nor can
they accompany you on foot. If you wish to be accompanied during visits, we can
arrange a licensed private guide.
Is this tour private?
Yes. The service is private, just for your party.
Where do we meet the driver at the airport?
Your driver will be waiting for you at the Meeting Point just outside the customs area. Please review our airport meeting instructions.
Does the driver go with us inside the monuments?
No. Only a licensed guide is authorized to accompany you during visits. Your driver will drop you off as close as possible but must stay with the vehicle.
Does it include a guide?
No guide is included. For this service we generally do not think it is necessary, since it is a panoramic introduction to Rome.
Can we go outside the car and take pictures of the monuments?
Yes, whenever possible your driver will stop so you can step out and take pictures (time/traffic permitting).
Does this include lunch and admission fees?
No. Tickets and lunch are not included. If you want reservations or tickets, please contact our office.
What is the duration of the service? Can we extend the time?
The duration is 2 hours total, including airport pickup and hotel drop-off in Rome. If you would like to add extra hours, please contact our office so we can check availability and advise the cost.
Is gratuity included?
No. Tips are never included. Tip only if you really liked the service. Tips are generally: 10% not bad, 15% great, 20% best tour in my life. Please report any abuse.
There will be a full charge for bookings canceled with less than 72-hour notice for any service required, and for no-shows. If you miss your flight, your airline cancels, or your flight is diverted, please advise us as soon as you know or a full charge will be made. Only pre-purchased skip-the-line tickets (if requested) are not refundable under any circumstance and will be charged to your card.
