Valentina was an absolutely amazing tour guide. There was not one thing she could have done better in any way. Not only was her English impeccable, but her disposition was joyous and full of pride for her city, her knowledge about everything she showed us was astounding, and she knew how to get us everywhere with expert precision. I cannot possibly sing her praises nearly enough. Every place she took us she had an incredible knowledge of the history down to every last detail. Valentina breathed new life into every aspect of that gorgeous, ancient city of Rome. She truly made my dream of visiting Rome come to life in a way I never expected. I saw the frescoes in the Sistine Chapel being painted as Michelangelo labored beneath, Emperor Domitian had the Arch of Titus constructed before our eyes, the lions and tigers roared from their place in the colosseum floor, and the Trevi Fountain splashed behind us as we threw in our coins and planned our return. If you do anything on your trip to Italy, book a tour with Valentina as your guide.
