Where do I begin? Our extended family has been home for 10 days and we are still talking about our spectacular trip to Italy! DriverInRome is the major reason that our trip was so successful. Our two-week trip began with our driver, Tino, picking us up at the airport. For the remainder of our trip, he drove us everywhere we wanted to go. Oh, how wonderful it was not to worry about how we would be getting around! We covered lots of ground...Amalfi Coast, Priverno, Ascoli Piceno, Venice, Florence, Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza, Rome, Orvieto and Civita di Bagnoregio. Tino was the thread that held everything together. He recommended the best non-touristy restaurants for us and made the reservations as well. He suggested small towns to visit and he was always right! We visited the tiny towns of Priverno and Ponte d'Arli so that my sister-in-law could look for the homes of her grandparents. We found both homes and that was due totally to the work of Tino. Not only did he translate for her, but he also went into municipal buildings, seeking information. Tino was just as pleased as the rest of us when she had success. In reality, he WAS the reason for her success. Tino was very professional and we always felt safe with him. He was lots of fun, too. I can not thank DriverInRome enough for making our trip run smoothly. Monia did a wonderful job working with me ahead of time to get everything set up. Daniele spoke with me while we were out on the road to make sure that we were happy with the service. Happy...we were thrilled! They also provided us with tour guides in six places along the way. Wow, these were some knowledgeable and informed people and this just added to our overall wonderful experience. At the end of our trip, we enjoyed a delicious dinner cooked by Angela with entertainment by Remo at the B&B. My husband and I have used DriverInRome in the past when we have been on cruises. You can be sure that we will always use them whenever we visit Italy in the future.
