Damiano met us at our port in Civitavecchia, and we went to Rome. We were 3 couples who booked a private tour. He was friendly, courteous, and informative on the drive. He had bottles of water in the vehicle for us to have. We hit a traffic jam coming into Rome and he was worried that we would be late for our Vatican tour. However we got there on time and he handed us off to Anna, our guide for the Vatican tour..Three and a half hours of the informative and impressive history of the Vatican, the museum, Sistine Chapel, St Peters basilica, etc.
After that, we told Damiano that we were hungry so he took us to a pizza place where we got the most delicious pizza I have ever had, and it was very reasonable.
All in all, they were a perfect tandem and our day was absolutely fabulous. Highly recommended.
