We enjoyed this tour very much and were quite impressed with our tour guide Stephania who was very knowledgeable being from Florence. She had a great sense of humor and she kept the group well organized. Learned from that Canada was actually the producer of Genoa salami We started at Pisa in the morning to avoid the larger crowds arriving later. We were given about an hour to go around the Pisa square etc., as well as walk down adjoining streets. We continued late morning to Florence and we thoroughly enjoyed the walk through the streets of Florence seeing the amazing architecture and sculptures. We also had time to dine on our own at the Galleria which had many fine shops and small vendors. A future trip to stay longer in Florence would be suggested to see more of this beautiful city.
