Stefania was our guide and she was a total champion. Her knowledge and passion for the region were on display. We learned so much about Tuscany, Pisa, and Florence, and had such a great time in the process! One of our other guides made a comment that telling stories and sharing knowledge is the easy part of a tour and that keeping track of everyone is the real challenge. That is very true and I admire and appreciate how determined and organized Stefania was! We got a late start when a couple arrived almost an hour after our scheduled start time, claiming they were prevented from disembarking from our ship (they were consistently late/got lost/disappeared all day so it's more likely they just got a late start and told a lame lie instead of being adults about it), but Stefania promised she would have us back to our ship in time, and she did! Also, when the aforementioned couple disappeared on our way to our bus in Pisa, it was pouring rain and Stefania walked back and managed to find them so we could get on our way to Florence. She went above and beyond to keep everyone together. Thank you, Stefania, it was a pleasure spending the day with you!
