Nestled between the Val d’Orcia and the Val di Chiana, Montepulciano
is a hilltop town surrounded by vineyards, rolling landscapes, and thermal
springs. Stroll its narrow streets lined with elegant palazzi and warm-toned
brick buildings.
If it’s
near the hour, head toward the Torre del Pulcinella to see the famous
puppet character striking the bell from the clock tower.
Montepulciano
is also known for its red wine—Vino Nobile di Montepulciano—and if you’d

Siena
Siena is one of Italy’s most enchanting medieval cities. Its historic
center is filled with Gothic architecture, with Piazza del Campo as its
heart—home to the Palazzo Pubblico and the famous Palio horse
race held twice a year.

spectacular monuments, visit the Siena Duomo, famous for its green,
pink, and white marble exterior, and a striking black-and-white interior with
an extraordinary inlaid marble floor.
And if you
prefer sweet treats to architecture, Siena is famous for traditional
desserts—try ricciarelli, panforte, and cavallucci and see
