We recently hired DriverinRome to pick us up in Civitavecchia from our ship for a private tour of Rome. What a wonderful day we had - it was the highlight of our cruise! Vinicio, our driver, was ready and waiting for us as we disembarked the ship. We wanted to see as much as we could in a day which is not easy as there is so much to see in Rome, but he and took us a whirlwind tour! There was a demonstration at the Circus Maximus that day and some roads were closed there and around hotels where some of the world leaders were staying, but no problem Vinicio knew every little road or laneway to get around the delays. We had purchased our tickets to the Colosseum ahead of time, and he made sure we got into the proper lane to bypass all those waiting to buy tickets. His knowledge and love of the city were incredible. He gave us so much information about the sites, the area, and the country. We enjoy being able to discuss local matters when we are in a new country and Vinicio was very knowledgeable. He certainly made our day a most memorable one. We have already recommended DriverInRome to friends and will most definitely contact you again the next time we are there!
