Trip to Pompeii with Teenagers

We had a great day trip to Pompeii from Rome. Damian, our driver, was lovely. We were picked up at our hotel and enjoyed a nice drive down to Pompeii. When we arrived we were greeted by Barbara our guide for the day. Barbara gave us an amazing three-hour tour of Pompeii. She was informative and interesting - kept our kid's attention the whole time! At the end of our time together we wanted to wander around a little bit more and she let the driver know and it was no problem. On the way home, we stopped for a quick sandwich and headed back to Rome. We were very impressed with Damian's driving abilities with a large van in downtown Rome! Would highly recommend it!
