We knew we were making the right decision in using Driver In Rome again.

We want to thank you for our wonderful tours on November 30th and 1 December. Our day tour of Tarquinia and Tuscania with Constantino was the perfect way to begin our cruise on the Solstice. Constantino is a true gentleman. He filled our heads with a wonderful history of the areas, our eyes with the beauty of the countryside, and our bodies with a fantastic meal. The small family restaurant he chose for us was absolutely delicious. He was at our hotels exactly as requested and delivered us to the port of Civitavecchia in plenty of time. As for our Florence tour - what could have been a disaster became quite a commendable event. Because our ship did not dock at Livorno as planned, instead it docked at LaSpezia, we were quite concerned as to what would happen. Luckily we got all eight of us onshore per the tender quickly before the most severe weather hit and called your office. What a relief! Remo answered and informed us that Luca was already on his way to our new port of call. You had heard of the change only that morning. 15 minutes later there he was even though it was 90 kilometers further. We can't thank you enough for this. Others were concerned the tour would never take place but having used your company in 2003, Joe and I were quite sure that you would do your best to accommodate us. All of you went above and beyond our expectations. Poor Luca drove in pouring rain most of the way to Florence using the GPS since LaSpezia is not the usual port. His manner stayed calm and pleasant and he was a wealth of information regarding the area we were passing through. How he kept his sense of humor we'll never know but we surely appreciated it. Because of the travel distance, we had to skip Lucca but most importantly we arrived safely in Florence, toured all our arranged museums, and returned to LaSpezia safely. We worried for poor Luca who had to drive all the way back to Roma that night for an early morning tour the next day. He must have been quite exhausted. Please give him our thanks and appreciation. We knew we were making the right decision in using Driver In Rome again but we didn't realize until that day just how right we were! You can be sure we'll use your services again when we return and will certainly recommend you to all we know traveling your way. I will also be writing my review for the Cruise Critic as well.
