From the moment we met Matteo at the dock in Cittevechia we new this was going to be a great tour. Matteo, who was dressed very professionally, amazed us with his vast knowledge of the area on our way to Rome. When we arrived in Roma he told us (to our surprise) that we would be picking up our guide Valentina. (We would have been happy with Matteo) When we met Valentina, we knew we were in for a “Fabulous” day. Valentina has a tremendous knowledge of Rome and it’s history to go along with her exiting personality, and between her and Matteo we were given what I can honestly say was the best tour we have ever been on ( and we have been on nearly 70 ). Valentina asked us some questions to get a feeling of what we were looking for and what our pace would be before we embarked on an in-depth, remarkable tour of Rome. Between Valentina’s friendliness, professionalism and vast knowledge of Rome and Matteo’s remarkable ability to navigate and tame the congested traffic of Rome, we were treated to a tour that greatly exceeded our expectations, and will forever be etched in our memories. Plus, Cappuccino, Expresso, Cannoli, and a fabulous lunch to go with it! “Grazie” Valentina and Matteo, for making our trip to Rome “Favoloso”, we will never forget you or Rome!
