Our two tours with Driver in Rome were so very special. We were a group of only four and it was so nice to not be part of a large tour group. Our driver in Rome, Roberto, was wonderful. We were late getting started and he was so very patient while we got settled in at the hotel. Then he took us on a wonderful tour of Rome, beginning with the Vatican. He helped us through the large crowds at all the places we visited and made our day in Rome memorable. He showed us all the usual tourist sights and even some lovely squares that I fell in love with, but unfortunately, cannot remember the name of the square. In Florence, we were treated to a delightful day of sightseeing with Daniele. We started early and he took us to Ponte Vecchio first so we could enjoy it without the crowd. We even had time for a pastry and coffee treat at a quiet little shop -- but we learned that we needed to ask for American coffee in the future. Florence is a beautiful place and Daniele made sure that we saw all the lovely places that we have always heard about. Unfortunately, the two of us were not feeling all that great thanks to head colds but it was a day we would not have missed. If we ever have the opportunity to visit Italy again we will definitely connect with the DriverinRome to make it special for us. We will also highly recommend your company to anyone we know who is heading to Italy. Thank you for a great visit to Rome and Florence.
