We had an excellent time and experience with Davide, our tour guide and driver, during our day trip to Rome last week. Our ship docked in Civitavecchia and Davide was promptly waiting for us at the meeting point. While we booked through Viator, Davide works for DriverinRome, a subcontracted company. He took us to the main attractions before the big crowds got there. He knows the city very well and parked his minivan very close to the places we went to. We were lucky to only have five people in our group, which made it so convenient to keep the group together. Davide also recommended an excellent restaurant for lunch next to Campo de Fiori market.
