This was an incredible experience. I usually book excursions through the cruise line but with the guarantee to get us back on time, I took a chance. It turned into one of the best experiences. The tour guide, Luca, shared a lot of info about the Italian people, the culture, the sights—I learned so much. We were with a small group in a nice Mercedes minivan so that added to the positive experience. Luca was able to drive in the minivan places a large tour bus could never go. He literally drove us to the steps of a popular cathedral! We were back on the ship with plenty of time to spare, even though we packed in a whole lot of activity during the outing. I could HIGHLY recommend it.
