We disembarked from the Celebrity Silhouette and met our guide. She was full of life and did a great job of telling us about the day, what we were going to see, and travel times. Our first stop was in Pisa to see the leaning tower, church, and baptismal. It was raining, but she explained everything and made a cold wet day interesting. We then traveled to Florence. Every historical building was part of our tour. neither rain nor cold stopped us. It may be impossible to be educated about the city in one day but we came close.
