This tour was outstanding!

This tour was outstanding! Although it could have been a disaster! The shuttle from the ship that was supposed to take us about 25 people to coach parking dropped us off in the city center and wouldn't bring us back! This wasn't the fault of the tour company and fell back on the port authority I think. When I called the emergency number on our voucher they were very quick to jump into action and had us picked up and on our way very quickly - and they couldn't apologize enough even though it wasn't their fault. Pisa was Pisa - it has a tower that leans: Definitely a must-see but not much else. Unfortunately, due to the time we were there, we weren't able to go into the cathedral because a prayer service was underway. But then we went to Florence! OMG! Florence was spectacular and our guide Samantha was fantastic! She knew everything about everything! There was lots of walking involved so if you're not up for it, this tour is not for you. What a beautiful city and so much to see and learn about. Definitely, a place to return to. Amazing tour at a great price. Worth every penny! I'll never pay cruise ship prices again!!
