The tour was really excellent -- Pisa was quick and is just full of people doing stupid poses in front of the leaning tower, but Florence was excellent. More importantly, the tour guide not only knew her stuff, but was fun, engaging, and made the content interesting. She spent most of the ride from the port to Pisa and then from Pisa to Florence talking about Italy, the Italian countryside, where she grew up, and about the history of the two places, we were visiting. My only knock on this tour is that the audio guides they gave us while we were traveling through Florence with our guide were very bad -- I'm truly amazed at how terrible the sound quality was. Everything else was fantastic -- including the guide's recommendations on where to eat pizza and gelato while in Florence -- I still wish I could go back and get that pizza, so good!
