This was an exhaustive tour of Pisa and Florence. It included a fair amount of bus travel and a lot of walking. However, I don't think there is any other way to take in these locations in one day. Our guide was exceptional. She was passionate about the location, spoke excellent English, and had us one step ahead of the other tours going on around the City. She put us in the best locations for pictures and offered so much history about the area. Although we were exhausted at the end of the day, we could not have been more please with the experience. Frankly, you could spend weeks in Florence and not see everything. This tour hit the high points and gave us ideas of where to spend more time if we ever make it back to this area in the world. It was an awesome experience.
