A great way to see both Pisa and Florence in one day!

Our tour guide met us at the dock. Francesco was an excellent driver, was very friendly and provided comments throughout the drive on the area and its history. He dropped us off in Pisa and got us access to a bathroom in a restaurant (free toilets are hard to find). We were on our own in Pisa, but the area is relatively small, so there was plenty of time for pictures and exploring. He then drove us to a hill overlooking Florence for some good photos and pointed out parts of the city. He then drove us into Florence and gave us a map and some tips on exploring, including a restaurant with good food for reasonable $ and where a free bathroom was. We had plenty of time to eat lunch and explore all of the main attractions in Florence. Francesco was waiting for us at the designated pick-up area and took us back to our ship.
