From Florence to Rome and tour to San Gimignano, Montepulciano & Pienza
Apr 2018
A group of us (6 adults & 1 baby) went to Italy for our company convention held in Rome just 3 weeks ago. We flew to Florence first before attending our convention in Rome. And instead of just taking the fast train from Florence to Rome, we thought of seeing the Tuscany side of Italy by car from Florence to Rome. And I read many good reviews of DriverinRome. The trip was 8-9 hours. The driver was on time to pick us up in Florence and spoke fluent English too. We went to San Gimignano, and indeed a very beautiful town and nice shopping too. Next was the highlight of the trip; Montepulciano. It included a tour of this wine-making place. I was so amazed as they took us on an hour-long tour inside and we had a wine tasting. We had so much wine and fun there. And our last stop before arriving in Rome was Pienza for cheese tasting. I must say the scenery there was marvelous. Like postcard scenery literally. Throughout the trip, the driver was very professional, friendly, humorous too and he had really made our day! And most importantly, their price is competitive. Trust me, I had done my research extensively before getting them. It was a great value for money.
