We had an awesome day with Claudio our driver. He collected us promptly and took care to find out what we expected to get from our trip and made sure that he exceeded these expectations. He called ahead to book a trusted private tour guide who was waiting for us on our arrival in Pompeii - he was fantastic! And then we drove on to Sorrento, stopping at various places on the Amalfie Coast to take photographs and then we had a late lunch in Il Positano, before returning to Rome. Travelling with two young daughters, it was a long day trip, but memorable - and we all thought it was our best day of our week-long holiday to Rome.

A full day to experience firsthand some of Tuscany's most breathtaking towns, where photo opportunities are around every corner.

Discover Siena, Tuscany's second most important art city. Upon arrival in Siena, your local guide will meet you and take you on a walk through the town's pictUresque narrow streets. See the Church of San Domenico, the interior of the magnificent Cathedral and the shell-shaped Piazza del Campo, a brick-paved square where the famous Palio horserace is held. After the tour, you'll have some free time to enjoy Siena at your own pace.

On the way to San Gimignano, short photo stop in Monteriggioni, an absolutely tiny walled fortress on top of a hill, surrounded by olive trees and vines.

The menu includes assorted cold cuts, cured ham, salami, cheeses, bruschetta, pasta, or soup, salad, dessert and coffee, accompanied by the winery's own excellent wine, olive oil and vin santo (sweet dessert wine).
